About NoHo Neighborhood Council
The NoHo Neighborhood Council (NoHo NC) is an advisory board created by the Los Angeles City Charter (Article IX, Section 906) to provide improved access to government and make government more responsive to local needs in the NoHo community. The NoHo Neighborhood Council is an elected body of 23 stakeholders, who are diverse in opinion, background, interests, and experience. As an operating Board, our purpose is to interact with local neighborhood residents and City government, and present stakeholder’s interests at City Hall.
Formerly the Mid-Town NoHo Neighborhood Council, the NoHo NC was certified by the City of Los Angeles in September 2002 and has been active ever since.
